Designed by BASS Pro, Ken Iyobe, the Hayabusa WRM 958 Wide Gap Screw Lock Hook is made for fishing swimbaits and other thick-bodied soft plastic baits. Featuring a specially designed, tapered bait keeper to hold your bait perfectly in line and produce maximum action, the tapered design also puts less strain on the head of your bait to reduce tearing.
Offering a bigger bite than other swimbait hooks as well, thanks to its wide gap design and greater horizontal distance between the hook point and the hook eye, the hook point also opens slightly outward for added hooking potential, while still allowing you to rig your bait perfectly weedless.
Each hook is also finished with Hayabusa’s silky smooth NRB (Non-Reflective Black) Fluorine Coating, which dramatically enhances hook-set performance and camouflages the hook for a more natural presentation. Available in a wide range of sizes, the Hayabusa WRM958 Wide Gap Screw Lock Hook is perfect for anything from small finesse baits all the way up to large, oversized swimbaits.

- NRB FLUORINE COATING – Hayabusa Fishing’s Fluorine coating is engineered on many of our fishing hook models. Our thoroughly tested Fluorine coating is a slick finish that enables Effortless Hooking Power, and has been tested to produce approximately 20% more penetration into the flesh or bone of a fish that is pierced. Fluorine coating also allows for the hook to easily move in, though, and out of artificial baits and soft plastic baits. This fishing hook has a subtle appearance and nearly camouflaged due to its matte grey colour.

- ORIGINAL POINT – On select Hayabusa Fishing hook models with a Black Nickel finish or Black Matte finish, fishermen will find Hayabusa Fishing’s Original Point. This is an elongated hook point with the front portion having two distinct cutting edges and the rear of the hook point is sharped by cutting up on the steel from the bottom to the top of the point. This provides the sharpest and most unique hook point in the business.
