A baiting needle is a thin, rigid metal tool with a curved tip and an eyelet or latch at its base, designed to thread baits such as boilies, pellets, pop‑ups, or PVA stringers onto your hook or hair rig without damaging the bait or your fingers.
In specimen carp fishing, where you often use large, hard baits and delicate rigs, it’s a key rig‑preparation tool. Pulls boilies, nuts and pellet onto the hair in one go. The everyday tool for setting up a hookbait.
