BKK Urchin Nail Weight
BKK Urchin Nail Weight The new BKK Urchin Nail Weight features a hollow-core to be paired with the new HyperLatch Quad Urchin Treble Hook system. The weight is inserted into the urchin and when combined with the wire rigging system of the Quad Urchin the wires lock it in place. The weight positioning at the base of the bait helps the bait fall vertically with the hook points facing upward to ensure solid hook ups.
Available in 3/64oz, 3/32oz and 1/8oz versions and are supplied 5/pack.
Weight Options:
- The BKK Urchin Nail Weight is available in multiple sizes, enabling anglers to select the appropriate weight for different fishing conditions and depths
- One common size is 3/64 oz, but other sizes are offered to adjust the bait’s fall rate and presentation
- Each weight is embossed with size markings, making it easy to identify and switch between weights quickly without guesswork
Design Features:
- Hollow-Core Alignment: Ensures the weight stays cantered on the hook and maintains stability during casts and strikes
- Compact Profile: Adds weight without altering the bait’s natural silhouette
- Dynamic Fall Rate Control: Allows precise adjustment of sink speed and bait posture for optimal presentation
- Secure Integration: Works with the Hyperlatch or Quad-Urchin hook systems, locking the weight in place without glue
Practical Use:
- By selecting the correct weight, anglers can control how quickly the bait sinks, maintain a natural appearance, and improve hook-up rates. The flexibility in weight selection makes it suitable for various depths, water conditions, and fishing techniques
