The Colbe Step Shad Bass Lure is inspired by the electrifying footwork of Springbok legend Cheslin Kolbe. Just as Kolbe’s sharp steps and sudden direction changes leave defenders frozen, this bait’s unique stepped design creates an unpredictable, explosive action in the water.
When fished like a jerkbait, the Step Shad “steps” side to side with quick, darting movements that perfectly mimic a fleeing or wounded baitfish. That erratic motion triggers reaction strikes from bass that simply can’t help but commit. Every twitch brings the lure to life, just like Cheslin breaking the line on the rugby field.
This is not a copy of what’s already out there. The Colbe Step Shad is a lure like no other—built to stand apart, confuse predators, and force strikes when ordinary baits fail. Designed for anglers who want something different, something dynamic, and something deadly effective.
